ELIGIBILITY:

This 1:1 Upskill Training is ideal for qualified and experienced nail technicians, as well as beginners who have already completed a basic nail course and want to refine their techniques. It’s perfect for anyone looking to focus on specific skills or improve their confidence in specific areas.

It is not a course, so it is not for beginners. If you are wanting to join the industry or are an existing technician with no experience using gel products or an e-file, I highly recommend checking out our beginner course instead 🙌 💕

WHAT YOU CAN LEARN:

We are happy to teach you any skill we are confident in!
We can cover one or more of the following areas:
- Russian manicures
- Perfecting close gel polish application
- Creating structured manicures with builder gel
- Seamless Gel X Application
- Nail Art (beyond a french tip)

The level of detail in each will vary on time remaining over the 6 hour training date.

DO I NEED ANY PRIOR EXPERIENCE?

This training is designed for those who already have a basic understanding of manicures, gel application, and general nail prep. It’s perfect for building on your existing foundation to refine specific techniques.

If you are wanting to join the industry or are an existing technician with no experience using gel products or an e-file, I highly recommend checking out our beginner course instead 🙌

WHERE DOES THE TRAINING TAKE PLACE?

In Person Training takes place in our Melton studio in Melbourne's West. The training will commence at 9AM sharp and run for approximately 6 hours.

DO I GET TO WORK ON MODELS?

Depending on what exact skills you plan to refine, you may work on models.

Manicures and gel application will take place on models. Nail art will be performed on nail tips.

You can organise your own models, otherwise we will organise them for you 💕

DO I GET A CERTIFICATE?

You will be issued with a certificate of completion.

DO I GET A KIT?

Kits are not included in the course as every technician has their own preference of product. No product is a one fits all. We also recognise that some of our students are existing technicians who may not require many new additions to their collection 🫶🏻

Instead, we have an optional kit available for add on with some of our favourites! It is not a "full kit", just a few key things we love and recommend!

We also provide product and supplier recommendations within the course.

DO YOU OFFER PAYMENT PLANS?

We offer Afterpay + Klarna, just select your preferred provider at checkout.

WHAT IF I NEED TO RESCHEDULE/CANCEL?

- A non-refundable booking fee of $250 is included in the total course price for the 1-Day Upskill Training.
- Rescheduling: At least 72 hours notice is required to reschedule without forfeiting the booking fee. If insufficient notice is given, the booking fee will be forfeited, and a new booking fee will be required to confirm a new date.
- Cancellation: At least 72 hours notice is required. If insufficient notice is given, the booking fee will be forfeited. No full refunds will be provided.

1:1 Upskill In Person Training

I completed a 1:1 in-person upskill training day with Monique from Royal Blossom Beauty on 19th January 2026, and it was such a valuable experience. The day was filled with information and plenty of hands-on training, which made it easy to learn and ask questions along the way.
