APPOINTMENT POLICIES
By confirming a booking, clients agree to all salon policies including booking fees, cancellation terms, and appointment requirements. These policies are in place to protect both the business and our clients, and ensure appointments run smoothly.
Booking
Appointments must be made through our online booking system.
If booking nail art, please send an inspiration photo before booking so we can advise which service or art package to select.
Appointments can be booked up to 2 months in advance and no later than 24 hours prior to the desired time.
A 50% booking fee is required for all appointments in order to secure your booking. This fee is charged at the time of booking and will be deducted from the final service cost on the day.
Booking fees help cover time lost due to late cancellations, lateness, or no-shows.
All appointments take place at our Melton studio.
Booking the Correct Service
Please ensure you have booked the correct service and enough time for what you would like done.
Standard nail appointments include time for solid colour gel polish only. Nail art requires additional time and must be booked using the art add-on options.
If you are unsure how much time to book, please contact us before booking.
If insufficient time has been booked:
- We may not be able to complete the requested design, or
- You may still be charged for the originally booked time.
If too much time is booked, you may also be charged for the time reserved.
Health & Suitability for Treatment
Before booking, please ensure you do not have any contraindications or conditions that may affect your treatment.
Please review the service information pages to confirm you are suitable for treatment:
If you arrive with a contraindication in the treatment area (such as infection, damage, contagious condition, etc.), your appointment may be cancelled or modified. In this situation, the booking fee will be retained.
The health and safety of our clients and technician is our priority. If you are unsure whether a condition is suitable for treatment, please contact us prior to booking.
Payments
Booking fees are processed through the online booking system.
Remaining balances on the day can be paid via cash or card. Digital receipts are available.
A 20% surcharge applies to:
- Public holiday appointments
- Appointments requested outside of standard working hours
Arrival
Please arrive on time for your appointment.
As this is a home-based salon, please remain in your vehicle upon arrival and text the number provided in your appointment reminder. You will be notified when ready or if the door is unlocked.
Messages sent via Instagram, Facebook, or email may not be seen during work hours, so please use the contact number provided.
Clients under 16 must attend with a parent/guardian to sign a consent form. Services are not provided to anyone under 14 unless otherwise specified.
Nail Service Information
Nail art is not included in standard nail services and must be booked as an add-on to allow enough time for the design.
If you would like nail art, please send an inspiration photo prior to your appointment so we can confirm the correct service and ensure sufficient time is allocated.
Booking the incorrect service may result in:
- additional charges if more time or work is required
- the design being simplified or declined if there is not enough time available
Royal Blossom Beauty reserves the right to adjust the service, pricing, or design on the day if the booked service does not match the requested design.
Not all designs can be guaranteed and may be modified based on time, nail length or suitability as well as our product range and skill set.
Cancellations, Lateness & No-Shows
Please understand that Royal Blossom Beauty is a small business, and last-minute cancellations or missed appointments result in lost time that could have been allocated to another client.
All appointments require a 50% booking fee, which helps cover time lost due to cancellations, lateness, or no-shows.
Repeated cancellations or rescheduling may require full prepayment for future bookings.
Lateness
Please arrive on time for your appointment.
If you are more than 15 minutes late, your appointment may be cancelled as there may not be enough time remaining to complete the service. In this case, your booking fee will be retained as a termination fee.
For appointments 30 minutes or shorter, appointments will be cancelled if you are more than 5 minutes late.
Even if lateness is due to traffic or other delays, we may not have time to complete the appointment as other clients are booked afterwards. Please allow extra travel time, particularly during school zone hours or railway crossing delays near the salon.
If you arrive slightly late, we may still proceed with the appointment but some steps may be shortened or removed to stay within the allocated time. The full service price will still apply as the appointment time has been reserved.
Examples may include:
- Nail appointments completed without nail art, massage, or colour
- Lash appointments where fewer lashes can be applied
- Lash lift, tint, or brow services where processing time may be shortened
We will not compromise the appointment times of other clients.
Cancellations
Cancellations within 24 hours of the appointment time will result in the booking fee being retained as a termination fee.
Cancellations made with 24–48 hours notice will have the booking fee converted into credit for a future appointment or product purchase.
Cancellations made with more than 48 hours notice are eligible for a refund of the booking fee upon request, or it can remain as credit.
Please note:
When cancelling online, booking fees automatically convert to credit. If you would prefer a refund, please contact us.
If we need to cancel your appointment for any reason, your booking fee will be refunded or credited.
Rescheduling & Appointment Changes
Rescheduling or swapping appointments within 24 hours is treated as a cancellation, as the original appointment time can no longer be offered to another client. The booking fee will be retained.
Changes to booked services with less than 24 hours notice may also be treated as a cancellation.
Examples include:
- Booking removal + full set and no longer requiring removal
- Booking nails with art and removing the art from the appointment
- Booking a larger nail art package and changing to a smaller design
As time was reserved specifically for these services, you may still be charged for the originally allocated time.
Please ensure you carefully read the service descriptions or contact us if you are unsure which appointment to book.
No-Shows
Failure to attend your appointment without notice will result in the booking fee being retained.
Clients who repeatedly no-show or excessively cancel appointments may be refused future bookings.
Contacting Us About Appointments
For last-minute cancellations or appointment changes, please text the phone number provided in your confirmation email.
Instagram, Facebook messages, and emails may not be monitored during working hours while clients are present.
Repairs & Fixes
If you experience retention issues with your nails or lash extensions, you may be eligible for a repair or fix depending on the circumstances.
Lash Extension Fixes
A one-time fix may be offered within 3 days of your appointment if there is excessive lash loss and proper aftercare has been followed.
You will not be eligible for a free fix if:
- you are on medications or have medical conditions causing hair loss or excessive shedding (including hormone-related medications, chemotherapy, etc.)
- you are experiencing a seasonal lash shed
- you continuously experience excessive fallout (products or style may not be suitable for you)
- you suffer an allergic reaction
- lashes have been pulled, rubbed, or plucked
- lashes have not been cleansed properly
- you change your mind about the style, volume, or length
Style changes can be made at your next refill appointment.
Nail Fixes
If a nail breaks naturally within 3 days of your appointment, you may be eligible for a free repair.
You will not be eligible if the damage was caused by:
- excessive length not suitable for your lifestyle
- biting or ripping the nail off
- trauma to the nail (knocking, catching, jamming, etc.)
- staining or discolouration
- rough use of the hands
- incorrect placement in the curing lamp during the appointment
- damaged natural nails that were already prone to lifting
- being advised beforehand that the chosen length, product, or condition of your nails may affect retention
Free fixes are not provided for minor imperfections, including:
- fluff or minor dust
- slight crookedness due to natural nail shape
- minor bubbles
- melted product
- staining
- small aesthetic imperfections
Free fixes are also not provided for change of mind regarding colour, design, length, or shape. Clients are asked throughout the appointment to confirm they are happy with the design before curing.
After the 3 Day Period
After 3 days, repairs are charged from $10+ per nail, excluding the cost of any nail art.
Please note that once products are cured under UV light, designs cannot simply be wiped off. If you change your mind about a design after curing, you may:
- have the design covered with another colour, or
- book a repaint appointment when availability allows.
Availability for Fix Appointments
If you are eligible for a free repair, available times will be offered around existing bookings.
Free fixes are strictly for repairing the affected nail or lashes only and are not a refill or replacement full set.
Important Note on Treatment Results
Certain factors may affect treatment results, including:
- allergies
- pregnancy or breastfeeding
- medications
- medical conditions
These factors are mentioned in our service information pages and consultation forms.
If you choose to proceed with treatment knowing these factors may affect the outcome, the treatment is performed at your own risk, and results cannot be guaranteed.
Refunds & Consumer Guarantees (ACCC)
Royal Blossom Beauty follows the Australian Consumer Law (ACCC) regarding consumer guarantees.
Consumers are not entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund if:
- they simply change their mind
- they decide they no longer like the service or product
- they misuse or damage the product or service results
- they were informed of a potential issue beforehand but chose to proceed
- they requested a service to be performed against professional advice
- the result was affected by actions taken by the client or a third party
Examples relevant to beauty services include:
You may not be eligible for a refund if:
- you request a specific nail colour or design and change your mind after application
- you choose a nail enhancement, decal, or design after being advised it may not last
- you request a lash style that is unsuitable for your natural lashes
- you do not follow aftercare instructions, leading to poor retention or results
- you book treatments too soon after a previous service (such as lash lifts or brow laminations)
- treatment results are affected by pregnancy, breastfeeding, medications, or medical conditions
- brow tint or dye results appear patchy due to dry or unsuitable skin
Clients are responsible for ensuring they are happy with their chosen service, design, or style before treatment begins.
Client Responsibility
Before booking, please ensure that:
- you understand the service you are booking
- you are suitable for the treatment
- you have followed all pre-treatment advice
- you are willing to follow aftercare instructions
By proceeding with treatment, you acknowledge that results may vary depending on individual factors such as nail condition, hair growth cycle, lifestyle, and health conditions.
Salon Policies
For safety and comfort within the salon environment, the following rules apply.
Children are not permitted in the salon due to the presence of professional equipment, chemicals, and breakable items.
Any verbal or physical abuse, inappropriate behaviour, or disrespectful communication (in person or via messages) will not be tolerated. Royal Blossom Beauty reserves the right to cancel an appointment immediately and refuse future bookings in these situations. Booking fees will not be refunded.
Smoking is not permitted inside the salon.
Please avoid attending appointments with wet or developing fake tan, as staining or damage to salon equipment or furniture may result in liability for repair or cleaning.
Appointments are by booking only. Walk-ins are not accepted.
There is driveway and street parking available, and the salon entrance is located on the left side of the property.
A bathroom and drinking water are available on the premises.
Loyalty Program
Clients can collect a Royal Blossom Beauty loyalty card during their appointment.
- One stamp is given for each appointment valued over $40
- After 10 stamps, you will receive $10 off your next appointment
The loyalty card must be present at each appointment to receive a stamp.
Referral Program
Refer a friend and both receive $10 off your next appointment.
To qualify:
- The referred client must be a new Royal Blossom Beauty client
- They must include your name in the booking notes when making their appointment
- The referred client receives $10 off their first appointment
- Your $10 discount is applied after their appointment has been completed
Additional terms:
- Maximum $10 discount per appointment
- Discounts cannot be combined into a larger amount (e.g. 3 referrals = $10 off 3 separate appointments, not $30 off one appointment)
- Discounts cannot be backdated
Email Marketing
When booking through the online system, you will be asked if you would like to subscribe to our email newsletter.
If you provide your email address in your consultation form, you may be added to the newsletter list.
Our emails are used for:
- announcements
- promotions
- new services
- exclusive deals
You may unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any email.
Health & Age Requirements
Please notify us prior to your appointment if you have any allergies or medical conditions that may affect your treatment.
Please do not attend your appointment if you have:
- extreme cold or flu symptoms
- contagious skin conditions
- infections in the treatment area
Certain health conditions may affect treatment eligibility or results, including:
- pregnancy or breastfeeding (particularly for lash lifts or brow laminations)
- diabetes (particularly for pedicure services)
- allergies to products
- contagious skin conditions or viral infections
If you are unsure whether a treatment is suitable for you, please consult your healthcare professional and contact us prior to booking.
Age Restrictions
Beauty services are 16+, or 14+ with parental consent unless otherwise stated.
Clients under 16 must attend with a parent or guardian to sign a consent form.
Content & Photography
During or after your appointment, we may ask permission to take photos or videos of the service result.
This content may be used for:
- social media
- website content
- marketing purposes
Participation is completely optional, and consent will always be requested beforehand.
For model appointments or discounted services, photo/video consent may be required in exchange for the reduced price.
Waitlist
If your preferred appointment time is unavailable, you may choose to join the waitlist through the booking system.
When an appointment becomes available, the system will automatically notify you.
Please note:
- Waitlist notifications do not reserve the appointment
- You must log in and book the appointment yourself
- Appointments are only confirmed once booked online and the booking fee is paid
Gift Vouchers
Gift vouchers can be purchased through our website.
Terms:
- Royal Blossom Beauty is not responsible for lost or misused vouchers
- Voucher redemption codes should be kept confidential
- Vouchers are valid for 3 years
- Vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash
If a gift voucher is used to pay a booking fee, it will still be subject to our cancellation and no-show policies.
Product Purchases
We do not offer refunds on products for:
- change of mind
- allergic reactions

Press-On Nails
Press-on nails are a custom product designed based on the inspiration photo provided.
Please note:
- exact replication of inspiration photos cannot always be guaranteed
- we are not responsible for incorrect sizing once supplied
- longevity cannot be guaranteed as press-ons are an at-home application and temporary product
